Drawing from his remarkable career as one of the most successful NBA coaches and players of all time, Steve Kerr provides lessons in leadership, overcoming adversity, and the importance of giving back.

Few professional coaches have had a career—or a life—as inspiring as Steve Kerr’s. Currently head coach of the Golden State Warriors and USA Basketball Men’s National Team, he is a nine-time NBA champion, having won five titles as a player and four as a head coach. After playing alongside some of the best athletes of his generation, Kerr went on to break coaching records—in his ninth NBA season with the Warriors, Kerr is already second in all-time wins in franchise history to date. He was also awarded NBA Coach of the Year in 2016.

Kerr’s work off the court has been equally impactful, through extensive community activism and philanthropy. He established a generous college fund in honor of his father, Dr. Malcolm Kerr, who was tragically killed by a terrorist in Lebanon when Kerr was a freshman at the University of Arizona. In addition to his community work, he has been vocal about issues that he believes in.

In the passionate, inspiring style that has moved his players to victory, Kerr speaks about leadership, building strong teams, overcoming adversity, and the meaning of giving back to your community.
