He is also an adjunct professor of healthcare management at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. He co-chairs the advisory board of the Center for Effective Lawmaking at the University of Virginia and serves on advisory boards for the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition, Unite America, and the Washington Political Film Foundation. Previously, he was Co-Chair of the 2019 National Commission on Political Civility and Effective Governance.</p><p>He earned his doctorate in business administration from the University of Florida, his masters in health administration from George Washington University, and his bachelors degree in political science from Florida State University, where he was a walk-on member of the school’s first Sugar Bowl championship football team. </p>
