On Broadway, she earned rave reviews in the Tony-nominated Jaja’s African Hair Braiding, where Entertainment Weekly praised her “deft exploration” of her character, “Marie.” </p><p>Known for her standout role as Riri Williams A.K.A. Marvel’s “Ironheart” in <em>Black Panther: Wakanda Forever</em>, Thorne will lead the upcoming Ironheart series for Disney+, continuing Riri Williams’ journey as the prodigious inventor who succeeds Tony Stark. </p><p>Her feature film debut came in Barry Jenkins’<em> If Beale Street Could Talk</em>, followed by her role in <em>Judas and the Black Messiah</em> opposite Daniel Kaluuya and Lakeith Stanfield.</p><p>Born to Trinidadian parents and raised in Brooklyn’s Little Caribbean neighborhood, Dominique often discusses growing up in a culture of rich traditions, resilience, and a strong sense of community.
