At just 19 years old, Jeremy Poincenot’s life changed when he was diagnosed with Leber’s Hereditary Optic Neuropathy (LHON), a rare genetic disorder that caused him to lose his central vision. What began as a devastating setback became a powerful turning point—fueling Jeremy’s belief that challenges can become catalysts for growth when met with determination and support.
With his father as his guide, Jeremy turned his passion for golf into a remarkable career, winning three World Blind Golf Championships, nine National Championships, and titles in Australia and Italy. Named the “World’s Best Blind Golfer” by CNN and honored by the San Diego Hall of Champions, Jeremy’s achievements extend far beyond the course. Jeremy then plays 18 holes of golf with the attendees, switching groups every couple of holes. Participants have the opportunity to guide Jeremy, and experience the interdependence required to succeed as a visually impaired golfer. This event is ideal for YPO and EO groups.
