Alongside a roundtable of top traders, Guy analyzes the day’s news in stocks – and gives advice on investment strategies for the first trades of the next day on Wall Street in a popular segment called Your <em>First Trade of the Day</em>. </p><p>He gained his experience working on the floor of the New York Mercantile Exchange for Drexel Burnham Lambert soon after graduating from college. At a very early age, he began climbing the ranks of Wall Street traders. He was quickly promoted to vice president and head gold trader at the firm, then joining Goldman Sachs as head gold trader. In the spring of 2000, Guy joined the U.S. Equities division of Goldman Sachs where he was put in charge of the firm’s Industrial/Basic Material group. He is now a director with the Private Advisor Group, a nationwide network of leading financial advisors. </p>
