<p>…the Meagher Theater was packed to standing-room-only capacity as students, faculty, staff, and guests literally lined the aisles to attend her presentation, which spoke to the power of love and forgiveness in transforming the human spirit. Occasionally, we experience a truly transformative event that reminds us, amid all the gloom and doom in the media about the future prospects of liberal arts education, exactly why we do what we do in higher education. Today was one of those occasions.</p>
