<p>Rachel Lindsay is an attorney, media host, and podcaster, best known for her ground-breaking turn as the first and only African American lead on ABC&#39;s <em>The Bachelorette</em>.</p><p>Throughout her journey to find love, Lindsay became a fan favorite for her intellect, authenticity, and ability to navigate difficult situations with confidence and poise. By staying true to herself Lindsay found success on the show, becoming just the fourth <em>Bachelorette</em> to marry her final rose recipient, and has since translated that success into a fulfilling media and sports career, marrying her skills and passions. </p><p>Rachel Lindsay hosts The Ringer’s <em>Higher Learning with Van Lathan and Rachel Lindsay</em> podcast highlighting Black culture, politics, and sports. She also co-hosts <em>Ghosted: Love Gone Missing</em> on MTV and is a former co-host of the wildly popular <em>Bachelor Happy Hour</em> podcast. In 2020, she created her monthly online blog, Honestly Rach, where she delves into love, life, career, friendships, social issues and everything in between.</p><p>A lover of sports, Rachel co-hosted <em>GTL</em>, <em>Football Frenzy</em>, and <em>Game Night</em> on ESPN Radio. She additionally worked as a guest host for ESPN’s flagship show <em>First Take</em>, <em>SportsCenter</em> <em>on Snapchat</em>, and ESPN’s social media channels.</p><p>On top of all of that, she’s an attorney. Rachel, obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin, then went on to receive her law degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee. Driven and passionate about her career, Rachel quickly joined a prestigious law firm in Dallas after graduation. Now, she splits her time between Miami and Los Angeles, where she is based for <em>Extra</em>. </p><p>Rachel Lindsay’s first book, <em>Miss Me With That: Hot Takes, Helpful Tidbits, and a Few Hard Truths, </em>is a collection of essays exploring everything from relationships and love to politics and race. Her second book, a novel titled <em>Real Love, </em>will be published in March of 2023.</p>
