Also a professor in the university’s Interactive Media and Games Division, he actively collaborates with faculty, students, and industry partners to explore the questions every organization is asking right now: How do we use AI responsibly? How do we protect creators? How do we build trust?</p><p>Gordon has held key business and product leadership roles at Tencent, Electronic Arts—where he was a designer for Madden NFL Football—and MTV, and has consulted across the global entertainment and gaming industries. A recipient of the 2018 Game Developers Conference Lifetime Achievement Award and recognized by Nickelodeon for Black History Month for his contributions to game industry and culture, Gordon brings both authority and real-world perspective to his work. </p><p>Featured prominently in the 2024 Amazon Prime Video documentary <em>It's In The Game: Madden NFL, </em>Gordon shares his story of cold-calling his way into Electronic Arts from his Harvard dorm room, pushing for Black player representation in Madden NFL '95, and helping shape a game that changed sports culture. He also appeared in Netflix's High Score, Disney+'s The World According to Jeff Goldblum, and Hulu/NatGeo's Rewind the '90s.
